Bees for Bronco - one of our latest bee-loving clients

Bronco – Supporting Bees for Business

Yorkshire based Bronco, a creative digital marketing, has committed to sponsoring a Bees for Business beehive for the next two years.

Bronco, which specialises in SEO, website design and development, PPC management, digital media marketing and social media, sees corporate social responsibility as an important part of its business ethos and it supports a number of charities through taking part in events such as Tough Mudder.

The commitment to sponsoring a beehive though Bees for Business, is part of Bronco’s CSR policy to support different initiatives, and in this case, to support the environment.

Becky Naylor, co-founder and Director of Client Services at Bronco, explains:

"The decline of the bee population is a serious environmental issue. From 1 million hives in 1900, the amount of beehives in the UK now stands at 270,000 and as bees are so vital for crops, maintaining and growing the bee population is essential.

We are delighted to be involved with the Bees for Business initiative and to be sponsoring a hive. As well as giving us the opportunity to help maintain the bee population, the scheme ensures that we’ll receive benefits in the form of honey from our very own hive which we can either use as gifts for suppliers or as a reward for staff.

Our beehive is being kept at the Bees for Business farm and managed by the company so we can rest assured that our bees are being well looked after. The whole team are really excited about this initiative and we’re looking forward to receiving regular updates about how our hive is getting on, learning more about bees, their environment and beekeeping in general.

We hope that other companies will join in with this wonderful initiative to ensure that the honeybee population is protected and supported for years to come."
